About Me
Kristin LeDuc
Founder, Spire City Marketing, LLC
In the spring of 2020, my family and I moved to Frederick, Maryland, arriving at a moment when everything felt uncertain and full of possibility. What began as a relocation quickly became home. Frederick’s creativity, history, and strong sense of community made it easy to put down roots and feel connected.

That sense of creativity and possibility has always been part of my work. In 2015, Porch Nook LLC was launched as a passion project to fuel a deep need for hands-on creativity. Over time, it naturally evolved into a space to experiment, test, and refine marketing ideas, becoming a real-world platform for exploring how storytelling, branding, and audience connection work in practice.

True Community
Community has been central to this journey. Becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Southern Frederick County helped turn a new town into a true community. Through Rotary, there has been an opportunity to support fellow Rotarians with public image and marketing efforts while contributing to initiatives rooted in service, collaboration, and shared purpose.

At the core of everything is a belief that strong marketing begins with listening, creativity flourishes when people feel supported, and meaningful work is built through genuine connection.

My Career
My professional journey began in the hands-on world of typography and graphic design, where I learned the logistics behind turning ideas into real, working assets. That early experience grounded me in execution and problem solving, and over time it naturally evolved into a more strategic role. As my career progressed, I began connecting creative work to business goals, audience needs, and long-term performance. Because I have worked at both the tactical and strategic levels, I have a clear, universal understanding of what it takes to get the job done.

Today, I bring that blended perspective to every project I take on. I work closely with business owners to clarify their message, identify what truly sets them apart, and create marketing that feels honest, thoughtful, and aligned with their values. My approach is collaborative and practical, rooted in real experience and respect for the businesses I support.

Behind the Name
Spire City Marketing takes its name from Frederick, Maryland, my hometown, long known by the historical sobriquet “Clustered Spires.” The nickname refers to the city’s distinctive skyline, where historic spires rise together to create a picturesque and recognizable sense of place. More than a visual hallmark, the skyline reflects Frederick’s character, craftsmanship, and enduring identity.

In the same way those spires help define the city, Spire City Marketing is rooted in helping businesses clarify their voice and establish a presence that feels intentional and authentic. The name reflects a belief in thoughtful elevation rather than noise, with strategy grounded in insight, story, and work built to stand the test of time.
